Projects- Preview

I was born in Mendoza, Argentina, but grew up in Texas. I am currently a High School senior in the Ready-Set-Teach internship and am enrolled in a graphic design class here at MacArthur High School. I cannot wait to graduate. I am plan to go be in the University of Texas at Arlington’s colorguard and attend Northlake college. I will major in Education and hopefully become a dual-language kindergarten teacher in a few years. I also hope to major in graphic design and start my own local graphic design business.

My family is the most important thing to me. We are all very close and they are the people I can count on the most. As I have grown up I have realised that being family does not mean you are blood related- just like being blood related does not mean you are family. Throughout my high school career, I made so many friendships that I know will last me a lifetime. Because of these relationships, I have became the person I am today. I know that if I did not have people like my mother, aunt, uncle or cousin, I would have given up on trying to reach my goals a long time ago. They pushed me to keep going no matter what and they always helped me when I was down. They showed me that I was successful as long as I tried my hardest and that is why I am so thankful that I was blessed with such wonderful people in my life.

I am interested in graphic design, colorguard, and teaching. I get stress out a lot, so to calm down I like to  dance, sing and listen to music a lot. I would say that I am very creative, but I do become impatient when things do not turn out the way I would like them to. I like graphic design because it helps me create beautiful things. I like how a small idea can be created into piece of art. It is also amazing because everyone can have the same dirrections and create copletely different projects. I love to see other people's work and see how different people have different ideas.

I am so excited to start college and am so happy that I got blessed with so many opportunities this year. Although I know it will be difficult, I will try my hardest and keep studying, so I can be a really successful teacher in the future. I will continue my internship with my host and keep learning from her to try to get more knowledge over what it really means to be a teacher.
